I’ve never shown this piece on the various photography websites because I don’t consider it a photograph – at least not anymore. This one rides-the-line between photography and outright digital artwork – and I like that… If you look at the full-size version, you’ll see the qualities of both – though it can be hard to tell where one starts and the other stops – and again, I like that.
This is a personal favorite – I call this area “Kingfisher Swamp” for lack of a better name (and it’s near “Kingfisher Trail”). It’s on the Little Maumelle River at Pinnacle Mountain State Park - which in turn is near Little Rock, Arkansas.
