A Romantic View of Ada Valley

A Romantic View of Ada Valley

This is one of my personal favorites…  I was at Stout’s Point overlooking the Ada Valley from atop Petit Jean Mountain and just getting ready to take some early-morning shots … when a whole bus full of high school kids pulled up on a field-trip.

At first I groaned – but what can you do?  They soon began to climb over all the rocks and explore the place, but I must say they were very well-behaved and not as noisy as I expected.  (Hey, I’m getting old.)  The bus said Decatur High School on the side, if I recall correctly (see previous note).

This young couple found a seat where they could watch the Ada Valley go by…

They also taught me something : Having some folks in your photos – especially in settings like this – can really improve them a lot … this same shot without the couple would have been OK, but not as nice as it is with them!
