Hopper Church of Christ – 10-12-10

Hopper Church of Christ - 10-12-10

This will be my 100th Featured Image post since I changed my site to this format, and to mark the occasion I’m delighted to present this latest take on one of my favorite subjects…

This old Church of Christ / Community Building in Hopper, Arkansas is over 100 years old. Services continue these days in a much more modern building next door – but the old church still stands and you can enter the ground-floor and look around (just be careful). Seen here in-between scattered showers on a late October afternoon, 2010. Hopper is on the edge of the Ouachita National Forest – Near Norman and a few miles west of Caddo Gap.
