The Big Dam Bridge

A couple of photos of the Big Dam Bridge, which spans both the Arkansas River and the Murray Lock & Dam in Little Rock.  It’s open to pedestrian and bike traffic only and connects two riverside parks in a giant horseshoe-like ramp across the river.

At one point you walk directly over the Lock and can watch ships and barges go right under your feet as they enter it – as can be seen in this shot.
