I’m going to make a wild guess that this is the old Hillside Church – since it’s next to the Hillside Cemetery and the newer building behind it is the Hillside Baptist Church. Often old rural churches like this doubled as schools and community centers, and this one is on Sulphur Springs Road in western Montgomery County, Arkansas – near Bear Den Mountain. (Map below…)
The Little Missouri Falls area of the Ouachita National Forest, as seen on April 5th 2012 (my 49th birthday!) This place has a long history, and almost became a National Park itself.
