Despite the fact that I made a special long-distance trip just to photograph this scene (and really lucked-out on the timing of it), I’ve actually only showcased a single image of it since I took the shots back in May of 2009 : The one that’s featured here.

To recap: This is located at BSA Camp Orr on the Buffalo National River, in the Ozarks of Arkansas.  It’s called “Twin Falls” because the one you see on the left and the one in the center are fed by springs that run year-round – but the one on the right is a creek that only runs in wet weather.  I was lucky enough to catch it after it had been raining for days…

I feel this makes a powerful black-and-white image … I’ve included the color version below for those who will prefer it.
