I wanted to include this photo before the day was over. It’s not much more than a snapshot, but it’s got a lot of heart : Cowboys at the Southern Pro Bull Riders Championships in Hot Springs, Arkansas pause to commemorate 9/11 as a young lady parades an American flag.
I originally created this a few days after 9/11, 2001. I still have it 10 years later…

Too bad “the end of Summer” doesn’t mean “the end of Heat”. September 23rd will be the first day of Autumn – but don’t expect it to get cool until the end of October! In the meantime : be cool, stay safe and have fun!
