This panorama shows a large sweep (approximately 200-degrees) of the Arkansas River as it curves past the mountain at Petit Jean State Park in central Arkansas. Taken just after sunrise on a mid-June morning and right before it started to sprinkle rain.
This is HDR of course, and the final image was composed from 24 separate exposures. I often think these HDR landscapes look just as good – if not better – in black-and-white, so you can take your pick this time. But you really should click on each to view it larger. (Full size is 1,900-pixels wide.)
