Iron Springs is a small park (used to be a campground) in the Ouachita National Forest, just off of Hwy 7 north of Jessieville. It’s a great place to picnic and hike!

Davies Bridge Falls – Winter 2013
I don’t know a proper name for this exact spot, and sometimes call it “Red Bluff Falls”… That’s Lake Roosevelt behind the falls – and from this point it becomes Cedar Creek as it passes under Davies Bridge which is just out of frame to the right. Further down it goes over the spectacular 100-foot high Cedar Falls – the centerpiece of Petit Jean State Park in central Arkansas. B/W version below…
