I like how this image turned out, and it’s a good example of the roundabout way I often go about achieving an end\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s another 3D model created in Blender – loosely following a tutorial from \u00dcnal<\/a> – and mostly made just for fun and practice. I found a fun camera angle I liked for an initial still-frame render, and used that as the “base” for several layers of painting effects that are mixed, matched, and blended on top of it.
